As a result of institutional donor funding cuts, making the most of the limited resources you have is now more important than ever. Lean continuous improvement (CI) will enable you to achieve more with less and to reach as many people as possible, in the best way possible.
We have contextualized Lean CI for NGOs, nonprofits and all humanitarian and development actors. We present Lean concepts and tools in a way that employees at all levels and in all contexts can easily understand and readily apply. We have extensive experience applying Lean to the live-saving and life-giving work you do.
Whether you want to learn about Lean and test it out, or you are committed to continuous improvement and are looking for an expert to train, facilitate and coach your people and teams, contact us to find out how we can support you.
Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) principles and practices help organizations in every sector work easier, faster, better, and cheaper—while strengthening quality and values.
By eliminating waste, streamlining processes, and building a culture of innovation, you can boost performance, increase agility, strengthen resilience, and unlock new opportunities for growth.
Whether you want to get started, accelerate or revitalize a Lean CI initiative, or you just want to improve one or more key processes, we can create an offering for you that is tailored to your needs.
I'm Andrew Parris, based in Switzerland and trained at MIT as an engineer and problem-solver. I bring 30+ years of experience applying Lean in aerospace, private companies, international NGOs, and cross-cultural contexts. I worked 9 years for World Vision - three of them while living in Nairobi, Kenya and working for the WV East Africa Regional Office and working with its 9 countries. I trained and coached ITC Quality Champions in Iraq, Nepal, Laos, Myanmar and the Philippines. I combine the rigor of a Master Black Belt with a deep understanding of how to lead real-world change across diverse sectors and cultural contexts.
My one-day Process Excellence Energiser training that I have delivered to over 1,600 people equips and inspires people to begin to improve how they work. On a Likert scale, participants rated “What I learned will help me do my job better” at 4.92 (5.0 = strongly agree).
My five-day hands-on Lean Green Belt training that I have delivered to over 340 people further equips and inspires teams to make significant process improvements, to serve as CI Champions, and to lead innovative change.
I can also facilitate your teams to improve key processes and coach you as you lead a Lean CI initiative in your team or organization.
